Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Tech to perform a range of computerized tomography examinations for diverse patient ages under the supervision of the Diagnostic Imaging Director. You will assist Radiologists, administer contrast media, and document imaging procedures in HIS/RIS/PACS.

The role emphasizes patient safety, radiation standards, and ongoing professional development. Qualified candidates hold ARRT in Radiology, RTR licensure in MA, CT Sub-specialty within 1 year, and BLS

Qualifications

ARRT certification is required.
RTR licensure in Massachusetts is required.
CT modality requires a CT Sub-specialty certification within 1 year of employment.
BLS certification is required.
Maintaining ARRT/DPH CEUs as per regulation is required.

Responsibilities

Operate CT scanner and produce CT examinations for interpretation across all patient ages.
Assist Radiologist with diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Prepare and administer IV/oral contrast media; document in HIS/RIS/PACS.
Ensure equipment operation, QA, and room cleanliness to prevent cross-contamination.
Stay updated with CT technology through training, courses, and professional involvement.
Perform related clerical and departmental duties as needed.
