Job summary

The Iowa Clinic in Central Iowa is seeking a CT Tech to perform Computed Tomography under the supervision of a Radiologist and to conduct a range of diagnostic exams with professional independence.

Ideal candidates have ARRT certification, Iowa state permit, and complete AMA approved Radiologic Technology training; two years of clinical imaging experience is preferred. Enjoy strong benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification is required.
• Current State of Iowa permit to practice is required.
• Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.

Responsibilities

• Performs Computed Tomography under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional examinations.
• Maintains independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in applying prescribed ionizing radiation for CT.

A day in the life…

Wondering what a day in the life of a CT Tech at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

• Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
• Performs Computed Tomography under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level.
• Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for Computed Tomography.
• Performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional examinations.

Required Licenses

• ARRT certification and Current State of Iowa permit to practice required.

Other Requirements

• Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• Two years applicable clinical experience in medical imaging and systems environment required.
