Job summary

The Iowa Clinic is seeking a Radiographer to join our Central Iowa team. You will perform radiological procedures under a Radiologist, and contribute to diagnostic exams across multiple clinic locations. No night shifts are required.

Requirements include AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology and a current Iowa permit. We offer competitive benefits, generous PTO, health, dental and vision coverage, and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology completed.
• Current State of Iowa permit to practice Radiology.
• Strong patient interaction and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiological procedures under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Conduct a variety of diagnostic exams with independence as needed.
• Support West Des Moines, Ankeny, Waukee and Downtown locations as required.

A day in the life…

Wondering what a day in the life of Radiographer at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

• Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
• Perform radiological procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, at a technical level.
• Perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for radiology diagnosis.
• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional examinations.
• This position will support our West Des Moines, Ankeny, Waukee and Downtown locations as needed.

Education

• Completion of AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
