Job summary

The Iowa Clinic in Des Moines is seeking an experienced Cardiology RN to join our team. You will provide professional nursing services for cardiology patients, following established standards and clinic procedures, and support physicians during stress testing.

The ideal candidate has an Iowa RN license, ACLS and BLS certifications, cardiology experience, and strong patient communication. Join a physician-led, locally owned practice that values collaboration, work-life balance, and ongoing

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services for patients of assigned physician(s) following established nursing practice standards and medical office procedures.
• Assess patients during Cardiac Stress Testing.
• Assist provider(s) with patient triage and formulate a plan of care based on assessment data.
• Spend time with patients to listen and understand their needs.
• Return patient calls and ensure patients feel valued and cared for.

Wondering what a day in the life of a Cardiology RN at The Iowa Clinic might look like?

• Arrive at work in the morning – no night shifts here!
• Provides professional nursing services for patients of assigned physician(s) following established nursing practice standards and medical office hospital procedures
• Assess patients during Cardiac Stress Testing
• Assist provider(s) with patient triage, identifies nursing diagnoses or problem lists and formulates an initial plan of care based on assessment data
• Spend enough time with your patients to listen to them and get to know them
• Return patient calls and ensure all patients feel valued and cared for
• Leave in the evening – hooray for working standard clinic hours!

• Must be licensed as a RN by the State of Iowa

Qualifications

• Previous Cardiology experience
