Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in Training (CT) at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah. You will join a high-acuity imaging team and participate in a structured, supportive pathway to advance into CT with hands-on training from seasoned CT professionals.

Ideal candidates will train toward CT registry certification while contributing to a fast-paced environment. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible certified applicants after completing CT training.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Utah Radiologic Technologist license in good standing.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit complete exam data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust techniques for diagnostic-quality images.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report equipment concerns.
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Follow documentation, consents, medical necessity, and coding/charging procedures.
• Complete all required documentation with time stamps and image storage.
• Support department operations and inventory management.
