Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved program.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Active Utah Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT Radiography certification and CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic images.
• Maintain equipment and report any concerns; assist with department operations.
