Job summary

St. John Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a CT Tech to join our radiology team.

You will operate CT scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality cross-sectional images, while collaborating with physicians and technologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and a positive patient experience. Ideal candidates have an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification, and at least 1 year of CT experience or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required (or equivalent).
• 1+ years CT tech experience or 1+ years as a registered technologist preferred.
• BCLS required upon hire; ARRT-R required upon hire; ARRT-CT certification within two years; Ohio Dept of Health license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners and related equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Collaborates with radiologists and staff to ensure patient safety and quality imaging.
• Maintains licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Adheres to ALARA, Image Gently/Wisely and hospital safety standards.
• Communicates effectively to protocol patient studies and coordinates with providers.
