Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a CT Tech II to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging on site.

The position requires day shift, 3 12s, 9:00 am to 9:30 pm with alternating weekends, and adherence to radiation safety and patient care standards. You will perform CT procedures, ensure patient identification, prepare equipment, and participate in quality control, contrast administration, and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Minimum two years CT experience.
• Proficient in contrast administration and image quality evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with attention to patient safety.
• Position patients and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Administer contrast when prescribed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Adhere to radiation safety and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in supervision and training of technologists.
• Ensure documentation of patient history and procedure details.
