Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital is seeking a CT Tech II to perform diagnostic imaging with emphasis on CT procedures, contrast administration, and patient safety in a high-volume setting. The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program and a minimum of two years of CT experience.

Active Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and current AHA BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Mandatory minimum of two (2) years’ CT experience.
Florida licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
Current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
One of: ARRT certification (R) and CT; NMTCB CT; NMTCB CNMT with CT.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality imaging procedures while applying radiation safety principles.
Position patient and equipment to obtain interpretable images.
Perform contrast administration per protocol and monitor for adverse reactions.
Maintain documentation of patient history and procedures.
Ensure equipment readiness, room cleanliness, and radiation safety compliance.
Supervise students and assist in on-boarding new technologists.
