Medical City Alliance/Saginaw Free Standing ER

CT Tech - Full Time, Nights (6:45p–7:15a Sat, Sun, Mon). May be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in the performance of CT scans, assessment and reassessment, and implementation of the patient\'s orders in accordance with department and organizational standards and policies
• Completes patient documentation specific to CT scans
• Assist Physicians and Radiologists during procedures
• Performs CT scans in a timely and efficient manner
• Positions and prepares patients for exams according to the type of procedure to be performed
• Completes appropriate documentation for each study performed
• Performs all computer and PACS functions
• Observes safety regulations and aseptic practice techniques to protect patients and staff
• Maintains thorough knowledge of the scanners and exam protocols to ensure the highest quality procedures
• Utilizes knowledge of age-specific needs of patients in performance of duties and responsibilities

Qualifications

• Education/Skills: Technical degree or vocational training
• Experience: Prefer at least 1 year of CT experience
• Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications: ARRT(R) or ARRT(N)(CT); MRT; BLS obtained by HCA approved vendor
• Specific Requirements: Must be able to be on-call status and respond within thirty (30) minutes of notification
