Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under supervision, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. The role involves providing patient care across all age groups and adhering to radiology standards.

Ideal candidates hold AMA/JRCERT-accredited education, ARRT registration, and BCLS certification, with 6 months of radiologic tech experience preferred. Sign-on bonus available up to $15,000.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program (Required).
• 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Preferred).
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Registered by the ARRT (R) On Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support On Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Compute tomography (CT) examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist to produce diagnostic images.
• Provide patient care to all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards.

Hours: Mon–Thu 4:30pm–3:00am.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training program (Required)

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
