JPS Health Network is seeking a Rad Technologist I CT PRN to perform computed tomography procedures at John Peter Smith Hospital, ensuring accurate positioning and image capture for physician review. The role requires daily calibration, coordination with radiologists on protocol selection, and precise documentation.

Responsibilities include contrast administration with proper dosage, equipment maintenance, and ensuring QA records are kept up to date.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JCERT approved school of Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computer Tomography (CT) or eligible and must become registered within 12 months of hire.
• Certified by the Texas Medical Board (TMB) as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, course accredited by AHA or ARC by first day of employment.

Responsabilités

• Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates CT equipment, positions patients correctly and records diagnostic images.
• Start-up and calibrate CT system daily.
• Reviews orders with Radiologist to determine proper protocol for each procedure.
• Performs CT procedures in an efficient and timely manner.
• Administers IV contrast with proper dosage and documents dosage for permanent record.

JCERT-approved Radiologic Sciences program

ARRT-CT certification or eligibility

Texas Medical Board (TMB) MRT certification

BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
