Job summary

Regional Medical Imaging, P.C. seeks a CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner and produce cross-sectional radiographs for diagnostic purposes, while ensuring patient safety and image quality.

The role is open to full-time or part-time employment with flexible days and hours; hourly, non-exempt status. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered, paid in two installments after 30 and 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT CT certification and be CT registered.
• Continuing education per ARRT/ACR and Michigan requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs for diagnostic purposes.
• Administer contrast media and manage IV access as needed.

SUMMARY

Operates computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs of patient's body for diagnostic purposes by performing the following duties.

Top ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for this position:

• Always maintains professional attitude when taking on Stats and fitting in a patient when needed.
• Administers contrast media orally or administers a line for intravenous administration.
• IV's - must be proficient in starting, maintaining and administering contrast.
• Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures.
• SUPPORTS MISSION, VISION AND VALUES OF THE CORPORATION.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must hold a certification from ARRT and be CT registered. Continuing education in accordance of the ARRT, ACR, and State of Michigan.
