Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Pittsburg, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time CT Technologist to perform CT studies for patients across all ages under the supervision of the CT supervisor and radiologists. This role requires ARRT registration within 90 days and BLS certification within 14 days of hire, with potential overtime and on-call duties.

Qualified candidates will have an associate degree in radiography and are committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college.
• 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
• Functions under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
• This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.


• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Preferred


• CT Experience Preferred
