Get to Know Your Team:

• UT Health Pittsburg offers 25 private rooms, a 24‑hour Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility, surgical suites, advanced diagnostics, a sleep lab, wound healing center, swing bed care, 16 physician offices and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies/procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) utilizing ionizing radiation and treating disease.
• Function under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
• Position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college.
• Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist Preferred.
• CT Experience Preferred.
