Resolute Health Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a CT Tech to perform diagnostic radiography and CT imaging across all patient ages. You will operate CT scanners, ensure image quality, and support clinical staff in a collaborative radiology department.

The role requires graduation from an accredited imaging technology program, ARRT CT registry or Radiology ARRT, and BLS certification. This position is based in New Braunfels, Texas, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Imaging Technology required.
• Current ARRT Certification in Radiology and CT or CT Registry within one year post graduation.
• BLS certification from an approved American Heart Association Training Center.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

CT Tech specializes in computed tomography and performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. The CT Tech provides quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.

Responsibilities

Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs, by selecting and operating appropriate radiographicequipment and C.T. images, utilizing a C. T. scanner and computed tomography techniques
Evaluates images for technical quality, assuring proper identification and procedure is recorded.Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy and the advanced scope of practice in C.T. by being registeredwith the ARRT.
Practices aseptic techniques as necessary. Understand methods of venipuncture and other steriletechniques, in agreement with state statutes and/or where institutional policy permits, prepares, identifies and/or administers contrast media as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
Assumes responsibility for assigned areas, quality control of equipment and reports equipment malfunctions, use of computing, digital imaging processing concepts and instrumentation to 3Dconcepts.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Imaging Technology

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:0-1 year with competency in components of computerized tomography.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:Possession of a current Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), in Radiology and C.T. documentation of approved training or possession of current Texas Medical Board (TMB) license. Must have ARRT & CT Registry within one year post graduation from accredited school.

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
