Job summary

Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Middleburg, FL is hiring a Radiologic Technologist for Day Shift on a full-time basis, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will position patients, prepare and administer contrast media, monitor the patient during procedures, follow radiation safety guidelines, and ensure accurate documentation in line with regulatory standards. Minimum requirements include Florida radiologic technologist credential, BLS, and the appropriate

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist credential required prior to hire.
• One or more of the following required: NMTCB CNMT/CT, ARRT CT, or Radiologic Technologist CT specialty.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
• Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
