HiredFirst hospital in Albany, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform technical imaging procedures using ionizing radiation across head, body, musculoskeletal, spine and chest exams. The role requires operating CT equipment, ensuring image quality and proper PACS documentation.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT CT certification, Florida licensure (if applicable), and BCLS.
CT Technologist. The facility holds Advanced Primary Stroke Care certification, Comprehensive Breast Care Center accreditation, and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. It is also home to the region's only Level III NICU, Pediatric ICU, and dedicated Pediatric Emergency Room, alongside comprehensive cardiac, vascular, robotic surgery, and orthopedic services.
The CT Technologist performs technical imaging procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology across a broad range of exam types, including head, body, musculoskeletal, spine, and chest imaging. The technologist operates and regulates CT equipment to acquire diagnostic-quality images and is responsible for processing and organizing those images within the PACS system. Applying cross-sectional anatomy knowledge, the technologist ensures accurate image acquisition while maintaining patient safety throughout the procedure.
This position covers a rotating mix of evening and night shifts on weekdays and weekends, with on-call availability as needed.
