Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assistant for the CT Surgery team. You will collaborate with the surgical team on perioperative assessments and assist during operative procedures, helping ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes.

Your role includes postoperative rounds, evaluating progress, and educating patients and families. Florida RN licensure, RNFA training, and perioperative RN experience are required, with a sign-on bonus eligible and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• Completion of an RNFA program accredited by AORN is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dedicated to CT Surgery, participates in perioperative assessments with the surgical team.
• Assists surgeons during surgical or invasive procedures under supervision.
• Participates in postoperative rounds and treatments, monitors progress toward outcomes.
• Assesses patient/family knowledge and provides appropriate education.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
