Job summary

CT Assist is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 1-month assignment starting in November in California. Shifts include day hours (7:30am-6pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch) and night call. There is also weekend/on-call responsibility with 24-hour beeper coverage.

Candidate must have 3+ years in cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery or CVICU with case volume. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in cardiothoracic/cardiovascular surgery or CVICU with equivalent case volume.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care in a cardiothoracic environment.
• Assist in OR and post-operative care for cardiothoracic cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and support staff during shifts.
