Job summary

Banner Health is expanding its Advanced Practice Providers team in Phoenix, Arizona. We are seeking a dynamic CT surgery PA or ACNP to join our Cardiovascular Surgery Group.

The role includes rounding on hospitalized patients, seeing patients in the clinic, and providing surgical first-assist in the OR. Qualified candidates must be licensed in AZ or eligible, have DEA with prescriptive authority, and hold a PA-C or ACNP with RNFA certificate.

Qualifications

• Licensed in AZ or eligible for licensure.
• DEA with prescriptive authority.
• Documentation of surgical first-assist training within nurse practitioner program or ACE/AORN/ANCC course.
• 1–2 years' CT surgery experience preferred.
• ACLS/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Round on hospitalized patients and see patients in the clinic.
• Provide surgical first-assist in the operating room.
• Work in inpatient/outpatient settings; part-time schedule with two days per week.
• Participate in call: one weekend per month.
