Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology and/or CT program.
• ARRT(R) and/or CT certification; MRT license upon hire.
• Current MRT certification from Texas DSHS or Texas Medical Board.
• BLS CPR certification from AHA/ARC/MTN.

Aufgaben

• Perform CT procedures and review physician orders for protocol applicability.
• Screen patients for safety and contraindications; modify protocol with radiologist if needed.
• Prioritize and schedule exams to minimize wait times and handle stat/urgent requests.
• Interview patients, obtain history, explain procedures, and answer questions about IV contrast.
• Administer contrast material with correct dosage and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Complete post-processing, QA checks, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance checks; protect patient data and privacy.
