Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT imaging with adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities include patient screening, protocol adjustment with radiologist, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Candidates should have ARRT certification in Radiography or CT, Texas MRT license, and current BLS CPR. The role emphasizes procedural accuracy, patient safety, and teamwork in a high-volume radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology and/or CT program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and/or CT; CT certification required within 1 year if ARRT(R) only.
• Must hold MRT certification from Texas DSHS or Texas Medical Board and current BLS CPR.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures, review orders, screen patients and adjust protocol after radiologist consultation.
• Explain procedures, obtain patient history, and address IV contrast questions.
• Administer contrast material properly and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Post-process images, document results, and maintain patient confidentiality.
