Qualifications

• RIS/PACS/HIS knowledge required.

• 1–2 years CT technologist experience preferred.
• Healthcare-related degree or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies following protocol and tailor exams to patient history and radiologist instruction.
• Administer IV and oral contrast and monitor patient condition throughout procedures.
• Provide radiation protection with shielding and proper collimation.
• Assist radiologist with sterile procedures and document vital data.
• Prepare patient information and train new department staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and CQI programs as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned within department.
