Job summary

Virtua Health in Voorhees, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT studies, prep patients, and assist physicians during procedures. The role requires ARRT certification, NJ licensure, CPR, and at least 1 year of CT experience.

You will work with RIS, PACS, and other hospital systems to ensure precise imaging. The position is full-time, on-site with a 3rd shift, offering a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT certification; NJ DEP licensure required; CT certification preferred; boards within 1 year if not CT certified.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality CT scan studies per radiologist protocols.
• Apply knowledge of routine and non-routine CT exams to obtain high-quality images.
• May perform extended radiologic/CT procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Operate CT equipment and manage film/processing.
• Utilize RIS, PACS, Web Viewer and other hospital computer systems.
• Document thoroughly and accurately.
• Obtain relevant medical information and verify physician orders.
• Administer IV contrast safely and insert IV catheters.
• Prepare patients per established protocols; assist during interventional CT procedures.
• Provide emergency on-call services when indicated.
• Train and assist in CT technologist mentorship.
