Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans for inpatient and outpatient settings, under the direction of a Radiologist. You will gather clinical data, ensure accurate documentation, and promptly process images to PACS.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB diagnostic CT certification and Massachusetts licensure, with strong patient care and communication skills in a fast-paced environment. Signing bonus may be available; schedule includes night shift and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological program.
• Registered by the ARRT or NMTCB certified in diagnostic CT.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs all CT scan examinations appropriate to patient age in inpatient/outpatient settings.
• Gathers pertinent clinical data and maintains accurate patient records.
• Accurately completes records, paperwork and billings and submits promptly.
• Positions and transfers patients appropriately and assists physicians with interventional exams.
• Completes exams promptly, performs QC on images and sends exams to PACS for review.
• Assists with inventory and procurement of supplies.
• Performs CT exams using contrast media under supervision of Radiologist/Emergency Physician.
• Establishes IV access for contrast injection.
