Job summary

The University of Miami Hospital imaging team is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to verify patient identity, interview for discomfort, obtain consent, and perform imaging under a radiologist's direction. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and infection control standards within UTower Imaging Services.

Qualifications include an Associate degree in radiologic technology, ARRT registration, and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration or eligibility required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant imaging experience.
• Accurate and detail-oriented in procedures and records.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient identity and consent prior to imaging.
• Performs imaging procedures under radiologist direction.
• Prepares and calibrates equipment, maintains decontamination standards.
• Assists radiologist with procedures and supplies.
• Notifies changes in patient status to the appropriate staff.
• Adheres to safety, infection control, and quality improvement practices.
• Contributes to continuous improvement of imaging services.
• Works independently or in collaboration with the team.
