Job summary

University of Miami Hospital & Clinics – Imaging Services UTower is seeking a CT Scan Technologist – Level I responsible for performing complex CT procedures and operating radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images with radiation safety considerations. You will supervise day-to-day operations in the absence of the modality Chief Technologist or Radiology Manager.

Required education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology /

Qualifications

• Education and licensing requirements as specified: high school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging program.
• Florida General Radiographer license; CPR and BLS; ARRT registration and certification as required.
• Experience: one year of relevant radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• CT scanning operations and complex CT procedures.
• Supervision and education of staff in the absence of modality Chief Technologist or Radiology Manager.
• Coordination of scheduling, protocol development, and ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The CT Scan Technologist – Level I performs complex CT procedures and operates radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images with radiation safety considerations. Supervises day-to-day operations in the absence of the modality Chief Technologist or Radiology Manager.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS and responsibilities include: education, licensing, experience and role duties as described in the original listing, including coordination of scheduling, supervision and education of staff, protocol development, participation in research, CT scanning operations, patient safety and documentation, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology / Diagnostic Imaging Program.

Certification and Licensing: Florida General Radiographer license; CPR and BLS; ARRT registration and certification as required.

Experience: One year of relevant experience.
