ChristianaCare in Delaware is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform all phases of CT testing for outpatients, following department protocols under the Radiologist's direction. You will perform additional diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit and assist with clerical duties as needed.

The role requires ARRT CT registry, state licensure, an associate degree, CPR, and IV training. You will maintain patient privacy, verify insurance pre-authorizations, and contribute to workflow

Formación

• Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology required (two-year accredited program).
• Completion of ARRT registry in CT scan required (achieved within two years of hire).
• State Licensure on Radiation Protection is required.
• An Associate's degree is required; candidates are required to obtain their Associates of Science degree (can be substituted within a related field), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
• Certification in CPR.
• Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper and safe positioning and transfer of patients.
• Completion of IV training course.

Responsabilidades

• The primary function is performance of all phases of CT Scan Testing on outpatients under the Radiologist's direction.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Perform clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Demonstrates complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT Scanner Units, radiology supported computer systems and CD Burners.
• Performs CT procedures and quality control as defined by department guidelines.
• Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in ACR and state licenses.
• Completes all technical assigned imaging and non-imaging procedures in the designated scheduled times.
