Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging for outpatients in accordance with established protocols. The role includes operating CT scanner units, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with radiologists and staff.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT registries in radiologic technology and CT, has state licensure, and possesses CPR and IV training. Training in cross-sectional anatomy is preferred, with opportunities to contribute to student education.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology.
• Completion of ARRT CT registry within two years of hire.
• State Licensure on Radiation Protection required.
• An Associate's degree required; must obtain AS degree within 3 years.
• CPR certification
• Yearly PEEPS certification for proper patient positioning and transfer.
• IV training course completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of CT Scan Testing for outpatients.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Handle clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Demonstrate proficiency with CT Scanner Units and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and Joint Commission standards.
• Accurately enter patient study information and coordinate workflow.
