Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT seeks a CT Scan Technologist to perform advanced, non-invasive CT imaging in a fast-paced setting. You will work with a supportive team, ensuring high-quality studies while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, MT license, ARRT certification, and current BLS. CT ARRT certification is preferred and must be obtained within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License required by law.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations per ACR standards and ALARA.
• Manage patient history and exam prep.
• Administer venipuncture and maintain I-stat competencies.
• Explain procedures and post-exam instructions to patients.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and stock in the department.

Schedule: 12 Hour Variable Shift | Full-Time – 40 Hours

Your Role

As a CT Scan Technologist, you’ll utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images, helping diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. You’ll work with a supportive and dynamic team while also gaining valuable skills in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.

• Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.

• Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.

• Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post-exam instructions.

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.

• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.

What You Need

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required by law).

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required).

• Current BLS CPR certification.

• CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for patient care and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Schedule

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
