Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, Montana is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform high‑quality CT examinations and support a fast‑paced radiology team. You will ensure patient care, safety, and accurate image acquisition in a community hospital setting.

The position offers a full‑time schedule with 12‑hour shifts in a scenic Northwestern Montana location, with opportunities for growth and certification advancement within the radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• CT certification by ARRT preferred (within 18 months of hire).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate CT examinations aligning with ACR standards and ALARA principles.
• Manage patient history and exam preparation.
• Administer venipuncture and maintain I‑stat competencies.
• Communicate with patients and explain procedures and post‑exams.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock in the department.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns per department protocols.

Your Role

As a CT Scan Technologist, you’ll utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images, helping diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. You’ll work with a supportive and dynamic team while also gaining valuable skills in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.

• Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.

• Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.

• Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post-exam instructions.

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.

• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.

What You Need

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.

• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required by law).

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required).

• Current BLS CPR certification.

• CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for patient care and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
