Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• One year in a CT department with multi-slice technology preferred.
• ARRT registered in Radiology; state license in radiology (LSRT).
• CT registration within one year of hire.
• BLS certification through ILCOR courses with manikin check-off.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with patients of all ages.
• Strong guest relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and position CT equipment and patients to acquire tomographic images.
• Track each study and perform PACS acquisition of studies.
• Apply radiation protection devices and select technical factors for optimum image quality.
• Process images and perform related duties to provide quality CT services.
