Job summary

Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to join the Bluffton Community Hospital on days. The role performs routine and emergent CT scans, including 3-D reconstructions and vascular mapping, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, image management, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

The position may require call coverage and occasional shifts at other sites within the system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Two-year Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology OR graduate of AMA approved or JRC ERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and emergent computerized tomography scans for patient diagnosis and/or treatment.
• Includes invasive interventional procedures, 3-D reconstruction, vascular mapping and complex image manipulation.
• Maintains digital imaging, film/file management, and quality control; participates in department Quality Improvement activities.
• Supports proper coding, use of the charge master, and Medical Necessity Checks.

Education

Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology

AMA approved or JRC ERT accredited Radiologic Technology Program
