Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to perform CT examinations, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. You will join a fast-paced radiology team and support diagnostic accuracy in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Montana license required for radiologic technologist practice.
• ARRT CT certification required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Current CT certification by ARRT preferred or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate CT examinations following ACR standards and ALARA principles.
• Manage patient history and ensure proper exam preparation.
• Administer venipuncture and maintain I-stat competencies.
• Communicate with patients to ensure understanding of procedures and post-exam instructions.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, stock management, and equipment upkeep in the department.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns per protocol.

Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana
Schedule: Variable Shift | Full-Time – 40 Hours

Your Role:

As a CT Scan Technologist , you’ll utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images, helping diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. You’ll work with a supportive and dynamic team while also gaining valuable skills in a fast-paced, cutting-edge environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring all techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.

• Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.

• Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.

• Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post-exam instructions.

• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.

• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.

What You Need:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (required).

• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required).

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required).

• RQI Provider (BLS) withing 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first, required.

• Current Computed Tomography (CT) certification by ARRT (preferred), OR must be successfully obtained within 18 months of hire (required).

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• A passion for patient care and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
