Job summary

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team. The role involves performing quality diagnostic CT scans under supervision and maintaining CT imaging standards in alignment with ARRT requirements and Wisconsin licensure.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT CT or radiography certification and a current Wisconsin license. Responsibilities include ensuring patient comfort, quality image acquisition, and adherence to safety and performance metrics

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved radiography program or equivalent experience meeting ARRT and WI licensure.
• ARRT CT certification or ARRT radiography certification (R/CT).
• Current Wisconsin Radiographer license.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients under stress and knowledge of CT techniques and cross-sectional anatomy.

Aspirus Wisconsin Rapids Hospital & Clinics is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team!

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs quality diagnostic CT scans. The CT Technologist will have an above average knowledge of CT equipment. Complies with performance measures and/or activities to assure patient/customer satisfaction results, clinical quality benchmarks, and operational financial targets are constantly maintained. Complies with and participates in maintaining an environment which supports our philosophy and values.

Those not certified in CT but wishing to are encouraged to apply and would be considered for an Imaging Technologist role with the opportunity to be CT certified in the future.

HOURS: .9 FTE/72 hours every two weeks working 7 shifts on/7 shifts off, 10- and 12- hour night shifts, which includes every other weekend and holiday rotation

Experience/Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved radiography school, an Associate Degree in Radiography, or sufficient on the job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and State of Wisconsin Radiographer licensure requirements.
• ARRT (R) and/or (CT)
• State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer license
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
• Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, and to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of computerized tomography techniques and methods, and knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy in order to obtain quality images.
