Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Travel CT Scan Tech for a 4x10s shift (14:00–00:30 Fri/Sat/Sun). You will perform routine diagnostic CT procedures under a Radiologist and department protocols, ensuring timely imaging for inpatients and outpatients.

Required are a CT license and BLS, ARRT CT certification, and state radiography licensure. Duties include head/brain through extremities, with or without contrast, following sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-accredited program.
• Registered with ARRT (CT).
• State radiography license required, BLS certification needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely diagnostic CT services to inpatients and outpatients under radiologist supervision.
• Perform routine diagnostic CT scans including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities and biopsies/drainage.
• Operate CT system with knowledge of contrast studies and sterile technique.

CT License and BLS are Required

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.
