Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a CT Scan Technologist for a CHS Travel assignment in Texas. The CT Tech will perform diagnostic CT imaging and related radiology procedures under a Radiologist, with ARRT certification and state licensure.

Start ASAP for a 13-week assignment, MON-THURS 12:30 PM–11:00 PM, with rotating call and one weekend per month. Requires ARRT, BLS, TMB RAD TECH LIC, and 2 years CT experience in acute care setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification required.
• BLS Certification required.
• TMB RAD TECH license required.
• 2 years CT experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures and OR imaging.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Position:CHS Travel: CT Scan Tech / Radiology- MIDS

Position Information:

The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures. Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure, studies with or without contrast media and cross sectional anatomy.

WITH ROTATING CALL AND ONE WEEKEND CALL PER MONTH
