St. Tammany Health System is seeking a CT technologist responsible for operating high-quality CT imaging equipment and ensuring accurate PACS acquisition. You will position patients, apply radiation safety measures, and optimize technical factors to produce clear, diagnostic images.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification, LSRT licensure, and CT registration within one year, with prior CT experience preferred in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology technology program.
• One year of CT department experience with multi-slice technology preferred.
• ARRT registered in Radiology; state license in radiology by the LSRT.
• CT registration required within one year of hire.

Responsabilités

• Operate and position CT equipment to produce high-quality radiographic images.
• Track each study and ensure PACS acquisition of the study.
• Apply radiation protection devices and optimize technical factors for image quality.
• Process images and perform related duties to support CT services.
