Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a CT/Radiology Technologist for a full-time night-shift role in Sparks, NV. The position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance, with full benefits and opportunities across the Imaging Department and Surgery, ED, and Pain Center.

Responsibilities include verifying patient histories, preparing patients, IV access, and evaluating imaging quality, while following safety protocols and CQI activities.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; BS degree preferred.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Stand by/Call required

Responsibilities

• Corroborating patient’s clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by the Radiologist.
• Preparing patients for procedures and verifies Correct patient, Correct parameters, correct protocol, Correct Imaging site, Correct exam.
• Starting and maintaining intravenous access as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
• Evaluating images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded.

Education

High School graduate; BS degree preferred.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Current BCLS certification.
