Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a multimodality CT/Rad Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and position them to capture optimal images ordered by the physician.

You will administer contrast materials, assist the radiologist with medications and procedures, and ensure rooms are prepared and stocked for CT or X-ray exams. The role requires professionalism and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue.
• Prepare patients and position them to capture optimal images per physician instructions; administer contrast materials as needed.
• Assist radiologist with medications and contrast agents, and with biopsies or related procedures.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT and X-ray procedures and maintain room cleanliness and inventory.
