Job summary

Retreat Doctors' Hospital seeks a multimodality CT/Rad Technologist to operate CT and X-ray equipment, producing diagnostic cross-sectional images. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and position them to capture high-quality images as requested by the physician.

You will support radiologists with contrast administration, biopsies, and various patient care tasks. Maintaining rooms and inventory, you ensure efficient operations and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT certification must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• Graduation from a vocational school is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Explain procedures and position patients to capture optimal images per physician instructions.
• Assist radiologists with medications and contrast agents, biopsies, and patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT/scan procedures and maintain room cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory and ensure room turnover and readiness.
