Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a CT Technologist for per diem hours at Tobey Hospital in Wareham, MA. The role involves performing radiologic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and providing quality CT imaging within the radiology department.

This position requires CT-specific ARRT certification, MA/RI licensure, and BLS, with flexible shifts and the potential for on-call coverage to support patient care needs.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Primary ARRT certification in CT (RT(CT)) within one year of eligibility.
• Post-primary CT certification within one year of eligibility.
• Current RT licensure in MA or RI.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registration in radiography is required.
• Vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform diversified clinical radiology duties and imaging as part of the care team.
• Position patient and select imaging equipment; prepare and administer pharmaceuticals as needed.
• Identify anatomy, set imaging parameters, and ensure image quality.
• Apply ALARA principles and assist physicians during procedures.
