Qualifications

• Must be licensed and hold current certification in Radiologic Technology by the State of California, Radiologic Health Section, Department of Health.
• Must be licensed by American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
• CT experience required.
• Obtain Fluoroscopy permit within two years of employment.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Able to recognize life-threatening conditions and perform basic life support.
• Ability to position the body for imaging and operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiation imaging equipment to perform radiographic procedures and produce diagnostic images.
• Assists radiologist and other physicians during imaging procedures.
• Provides procedural-related patient care and education.
• Maintains records and documentation for procedures.
