Job summary

Ventura Services Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT scanners and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will explain procedures to patients, position and immobilize them, inject contrast as needed, and monitor safety and comfort throughout exams.

The role requires working with fluoroscopy when needed, ensuring image quality, and adhering to radiation protection protocols. Prior CT experience and ARRT license are preferred; BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited program of radiologic technology.
• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist License/CT certification preferred.
• ARRT license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patient.
• Position and immobilize patients on examining table following protocol.
• Administer contrast media as indicated and enter data when needed.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort via intercom and control room window.
• Ensure image quality and perform fluoroscopy as needed.
• Follow department safety rules and radiation protection practices.
• Cross-trained in other areas as applicable.
