Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform a variety of imaging exams using standard, portable, and specialized x-ray equipment. The role includes patient positioning, dose management, and collaboration with Radiologists to ensure diagnostic-quality images.

Qualified candidates will hold RTR licensure in MA or a 1-year temporary MA license, ARRT certification in Radiology, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Current: Radiologic Technologist role in a hospital setting.
• Must hold Massachusetts RTR license or be eligible for one-year temporary MA license.
• ARRT Radiology certification and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and ensure comfort and modesty.
• Position patients and operate imaging equipment per protocol.
• Monitor radiation safety and ALARA principles; ensure image quality and proper documentation.
• Assist Radiologist with procedures and contrast administration when required.
