CT Radiographer I

Your Role as a CT Radiographer

As a CT Radiographer at UMMS, your key responsibilities include:

  • Operating high-resolution Tomography / CT imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images.
  • Demonstrating clinical competence in Musculoskeletal, Neuro, and Body imaging.
  • Collaborating with EPIC to fix studies in the private area.
  • Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning.
  • Collaborating with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams for accurate diagnostics.
  • Maintaining accurate records and adhering to compliance standards.

Shift Details:

  • Full-Time Night Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 7pm-7am
  • Other available shifts include:
  • Wednesday- Saturday 9:00pm-7:00am
  • Friday-Sunday 7:00pm-7:00am
  • PRN (as needed)

Qualifications

  • Maryland Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility)
  • ARRT (CT) Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Previous hospital or outpatient imaging experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, patient care, and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy is a plus
