Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NH, seeks a Multi-Modality Technologist to operate CT and X-ray equipment and produce diagnostic images. You will prepare patients, explain procedures, and position them to achieve optimal results requested by the physician.

The role requires CT and X-ray experience, ARRT-CT certification, and BCLS within 30 days of starting. You will work within a hospital network of HCA Healthcare facilities in New Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• One year CT and X-Ray Experience.
• ARRT-CT Registered.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images per physician requests.
• Interpret scanning instructions and position patients for optimal images.
• Assist radiologist with administration of contrast agents, biopsies, and related patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and X-ray procedures and monitor room cleanliness.

Job Summary

As a Multi-Modality Technologist, you would operate CT and X-ray equipment, to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue used to diagnose medical conditions. You will prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning the patient to capture optimal images requested by the physician.

• You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan and X-Ray equipment.

• Assist the radiologist in administering medication and contrast agents, performing biopsies and all types of care to patients.

• Prepare examination rooms for CT scan and/or invasive procedures, as well as X-Ray.

• Monitor inventory of supplies during room rotation and maintain room cleanliness.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.

• One year CT and X-Ray Experience.

• ARRT-CT Registered.
