The role you’ll contribute:
Under general supervision, your primary duties include imaging neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines of AdventHealth, transmitting images for diagnosis, and updating the hospital computer system with exam progress. You will actively participate in outstanding customer service, maintaining respectful relationships, and implementing AdventHealth principles. You will perform various technical scanning procedures requiring independent judgment, including ionizing radiation for CT, X-ray, and MR procedures. You will be responsible for designated areas, policies, and equipment.

· Perform exams using AdventHealth protocols, properly identify and educate patients, and screen for contrast allergies.
· Complete exams efficiently, communicate with patients, and discharge them appropriately.
· Operate imaging equipment safely, adapt protocols for all ages, and perform QA on scanners.
· Screen patients of childbearing age and practice infection control, maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program with an associate degree or certification
· (R) ARDMS or ARRT - Radiographer
· ARRT- CT
· (MR) ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance
