Job Summary and Qualifications

We seek a Florida-licensed CT Technologist on a PRN/per diem basis. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic CT scans of the brain, spine, face, sinuses, orbits, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, sella, and biopsies, with a focus on patient care.

Our facility is a Level II Trauma Center, requiring availability for rotating call assignments.

Key duties include:

• Performing accurate diagnostic CT examinations with compassion and respect.
• Operating CT equipment, pressure injectors, resuscitation tools, laser filmers, and teleradiology systems.
• Assisting with contrast media administration and patient positioning.
• Documenting clinical information, obtaining consent, and ensuring quality images.
• Maintaining equipment, cleanliness, and supplies, and participating in on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Vocational/Technical education in Radiologic Technology.
• Valid ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications.
• Active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• 1-3 years of recent CT Technologist experience in an acute care setting preferred.
